SENIOR DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Director of Business Development role at Celebrate Arkansas provides a unique opportunity to continue the business relationships that have been forged while building new connections and lasting partnerships. The primary role of this position is the development of new business through prospecting and event attendance where the target partners are attending and can be easily conversed with, making solid contacts. Additionally, this person is responsible for creating sales reports and tracking data that is used for monthly reporting with a laser focus on generating revenue.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate, negotiate, and represent Celebrate Arkansas at events to build business with both current and potential partners while raising awareness of the Celebrate Arkansas brand

  • Maintain a monthly sales and prospect report for the sales team while managing and communicating updates during regular sales meetings

  • Seamless management of the current client list

  • Working with the Editor-in-Chief to develop a targeted list of new partners that will be personally focused on for revenue opportunity during any given calendar year

  • Support the team in various projects throughout the year where help is needed to maximize the brand

  • Leadership in the office and within the community with various opportunities to represent the Celebrate Arkansas brand

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required

  • Sales background (5–10 years)
